On this tour, you will visit Cantareira Park, one of the largest urban forests on the planet. There, you will see one of the most impressive viewpoints in the city, where you will see the division between the forest and the megalopolis. The park is an important remnant of the Atlantic Forest in the metropolis, and of extreme ecological importance to the state of São Paulo. It was declared part of the Green Belt Biosphere Reserve of the city of São Paulo by UNESCO in 1994. It is considered one of the largest urban forests in the world, with a high population density in its surroundings. There, you will be able to see exuberant fauna – 388 species of vertebrates, 478 of invertebrates – and flora – cabuçu, jequitibá, juçara, cedar, xaxim, bromeliad – typical of the Atlantic forest.

Pickup included
After being picked up from your hotel, we will head to Cantareira Park, one of the largest urban forests on the planet. Upon arrival, we will have an explanation about the park and a stretch for a walk of approximately 8 km (round trip) to one of the most incredible viewpoints in the city, where we will see the division between the green of the forest and the gray of the megalopolis. After the walk, we will head back to your hotel or the meeting point.
