Apart from being the city capital, Canberra is also famous for being Australia’s political hub. It is the very place where the Commonwealth of Australia was founded, thus making it the Seat of the Government. This day tour will take you the most important landmarks showcasing the city’s political importance in the country. Visit the National Museum where you’ll get to learn about the stories of how Australia came to be and its First Nations people. After that, you’ll proceed to the iconic Parliament House, seated on top of the Capital Hill. Have a deeper understanding of how the country’s democracy had progressed historically and legislatively while wandering around its halls. When you step outside the ‘Big House’, you’ll be greeted by stunning hilltop vistas surrounding the area. The final destination of the tour will be at the historic War Memorial. There you can pay tribute to the sacrifice of fallen soldiers and citizens who had given their lives for the nation as you walk around the area.
