The Palace of the Parliament is a masterpiece of communist ambition — with over 1,000 rooms, crystal chandeliers weighing up to 5 tons, and marble sourced entirely from Romania. Built at the order of dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu, this monumental structure is also the heaviest building on the planet. During the tour, you’ll walk through majestic halls, grand staircases, and richly decorated salons, while learning fascinating stories of excess, power, and paradox.
