Tickets for the Forbidden City must be purchased on the official website 7 days in advance. The Forbidden City is closed on Mondays, so there is a risk that you will not be able to buy tickets. If you cannot buy tickets, you will be replaced with Prince Gong's Mansion or rescheduled.
Clothing suggestions: Comfortable sports shoes are required for the Great Wall and Hutong tours. There is no sunshade in the Forbidden City, so bring a sun hat. The Great Wall is cooler at night, so it is recommended to bring a jacket.
