— COVID-19 Protocols —

The bus service complies with the following protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19:

  • Maintaining good ventilation: The bus windows are opened for about five minutes to take in fresh air from the outside
  • Physical distancing: Barriers have been installed between the seats to decrease the spread of infection
  • Disinfecting: The bus is regularly sprayed with disinfectant to inhibit the growth of viruses and bacteria
  • Cleaning: The bus is cleaned after every trip to reduce the risk of contamination. Careful attention is given to frequently touched areas such as the handrails and toilets
  • Rubbing alcohol is readily available inside the bus and at the ticket counters
  • Bus staff are required to always wear masks and undergo temperature checks to monitor their health

  • There is a time limit to use both the Kin no Yu (gold water) and Gin no Yu (silver water) baths, so you may want to plan ahead and maximize your time trying out the other baths
  • Kindly note that the e-vouchers and bus tickets cannot be replaced in the event of loss or theft
  • Those departing from the Osaka area can board at the following sites (check the travel schedule specific to your bus site as it may differ from those of the other sites):
    • Osaka Station JR Express Bus Terminal
    • JR Namba (Minatomachi Bus Terminal)
    • Shin-Osaka Station
  • Those departing from the Kobe area can board at either Shin-Kobe Station or at the Sannomiya Bus Terminal. Please check the travel schedule specific to your bus site as it may differ from those of the other sites
  • The bus departs on time. Please check the travel schedule for your bus stop in advance and allot extra time for boarding
  • Arrival at the destination may be delayed due to road and weather conditions. The bus service will not issue refunds or other forms of compensation if the trip is delayed due to such causes
  • Passengers can bring handbags for free under the following conditions:
    • The weight does not exceed 10 kg
    • The total volume does not exceed 0.027 cubic meters
    • The bag length is 1 meter or less
    • Please note the bus staff may restrict the amount of luggage you can bring if it blocks the aisles and emergency exits
    • Pets are allowed but must be kept in cages. Please contact the bus company for additional details
  • • Bringing of dangerous items inside the bus is not allowed
    • Drunk passengers or those in dirty clothing will not be allowed onboard
    • Guests with pets who are loud and may bother other passengers will also not be allowed to board
  • For those riding the bus service to destinations beyond the scope of this package, please pay the separate fees required
  • For e-voucher refunds, please contact the Over The Planet Customer Center, not the bus ticket centers. However, please note that refunds cannot be made if the e-vouchers were already used to claim the bus tickets
  • The e-vouchers are subject to the laws of Japan, the policies of the operating companies involved, and other relevant laws and regulations

  • Please check the official website for the Kin no Yu and Gin no Yu baths as they have their own business hours and holidays. Since there is a time limit to use both baths, you may want to plan ahead and maximize your time trying out the other baths 
  • Gin no Yu (silver water bath) will be temporarily closed from February 1 (Tuesday) to 28 (Monday), 2022, for maintenance
