Itinerary

Gastown

We will visit the lively Gastown neighborhood; it's known for its whistling Steam Clock and its mix of souvenir shops, independent art galleries and decor shops housed in Victorian buildings. The modern food and drink scene includes chic cocktail lounges and restaurants serving everything from gourmet sandwiches to local seafood. Trendy restaurants also abound on the neighboring Downtown Eastside, while the up-and-coming Railtown district is home to cutting-edge fashion studios.

Canada Place

The complex was built for Expo '86, a world's fair that was held in Vancouver. After the fair, Canada Place became a convention and event center. It also houses a hotel, a casino and several restaurants. A tour of Canada Place can begin in the main lobby, which is decorated with murals depicting Canada's history and culture. From the lobby, you can access the pavilions, which host a variety of exhibitions and events. There is also a viewing platform at the top of one of the pavilions that offers stunning views of the city and the port. The complex is also home to the Vancouver Maritime Museum, which features exhibits on Canada's maritime history. A tour of Canada Place is a great way to learn about the history and culture of Canada, as well as take in the stunning views of the city.

Chinatown

Chinatown Vancouver is Canada's oldest and largest Chinatown. It is located in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, and is home to a large Chinese community. The area is known for its traditional Chinese architecture, shops, restaurants, and markets. The entrance to Chinatown is marked by a large gate, which was built in 1990. The gate is decorated with dragons and other Chinese symbols. Inside the gate, you'll find a bustling market with stalls selling everything from fresh produce to souvenirs. There are also many restaurants serving traditional Chinese cuisine. One of the most popular attractions in Chinatown is the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden. This beautiful garden was built in 1986 and is modeled after a traditional Chinese garden from the Song Dynasty. The Garden is an oasis of peace in the heart of the city and is a great place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of downtown Vancouver.
