Unlimited rides for 7/14/21 days on all JR routes, including Shinkansen, Limited Express, Express Train, and rapid or local trains, as well as local and some express JR Bus, and JR-WEST Miyajima ferry
- Validity Period: The intended date of use must be specified at the time of redemption (a date within 30 days from the redemption date). The consecutive usage of 7 / 14 / 21 days will commence from the first day of actual usage
- For seat reservations, please present your JR pass at the green counters or green ticketing machines. Reservation is only available after JR Pass is redemeed. For more reservation details, please see the official website
- Scope of Validity:
1) All JR Group Railways-Shinkansen bullet trains (except for any reserved or non-reserved seat on “NOZOMI” and “MIZUHO” trains), limited express trains, express trains, and rapid or local trains, and the BRT (With some exceptions)
2) Tokyo Monorail
3) Aoimori Railway services between Aomori and Hachinohe (but only for travel on local or rapid service trains passing through the stops between Hachinohe and Aomori, Aomori and Noheji, and Hachinohe and Noheji. The fare is not covered if you disembark at any other station on the Aoimori Railway line other than Aomori, Noheji, and Hachinohe)
4) The IR Ishikawa Railway Line between Kanazawa and Tsubata but only on local or limited express trains and only onboard and offboard at the two terminal stations. The fare is not covered if you disembark at any station along the IR Ishikawa Railway line
5) The Ainokaze Toyama Railway Line between Toyama and Takaoka but only on local trains and only onboard and offboard at the two terminal stations. The fare is not covered if you disembark at any station along the Ainokaze Toyama Railway line

- JR Standard Cabin: The fares are more favorable than those in Green Cabins. Seats are usually allocated 2-3 per row, and the space is smaller than those in Green Cabins.
- JR Green Car (Cabin): It is a high-class cabin and is suitable for long-distance travel. The interior of the cabin is stylishly designed. Seats are usually allocated 2-2 per row and the inclination of the seat backs can be adjusted. It is more spacious and comfortable than standard cabins. Wet wipes and charging heads are free with available coffee and snack vendors.

- Children require a child pass if occupying a seat in a reserved-seat carriage or traveling alone
- Luggage Restrictions: Passengers may bring up to two pieces of luggage, not including carry-ons and smaller bags, each piece may not weigh more than 30kg and its length, width and depth may not add up to more than 250cm, while its length may not exceed 200cm
