This market is the main wholesale and retail marketplace in Accra, the epicenter of trade in the country and one of the nation's most important social and cultural institutions. The Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, also known as the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park in Ghana is the final resting place of the first President of the republic of Ghana, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. It is dedicated to him for his relentless and dauntless campaign to liberate Ghana.
