Meet at exit 3 of Chiayi HSR Station
Arrive at the hotel in Alishan (Check-in is usually after 3 pm)
Explore Alishan National Scenic Area and take in the lush surroundings with an expert tour guide. Route: Alishan Visitor Center (Board the Sightseeing Shuttle) →
Zhaoping Station → Sister Ponds, Four Sisters Tree, Three Brothers Tree, Pig-shaped Tree Stump, Love Forever Tree Trunk → Magnolia Garden → Shouzhen Temple → Land God Temple → Xianglin Elementary School → Thousand Year Cypress → Pagoda of the Tree Spirit → Xianglin Giant Tree → Kinzan Dr. Kawai Monument → Ciyun Temple Scenery → Third Generation Tree / Elephant Trunk Tree / Xianglin Arch Bridge / Forestry Bureau Work Station → Shouzhen Temple (Board the Sightseeing Shuttle) → Alishan Visitor Center (tour duration: 3–3.5 hours)

Choose 1 sunrise itinerary: Yushan National Park or Sunrise Train
A. Yushan National Park with professional guided tour: head to Yushan under the starry sky. Ride past Yushan National Park monument, Lulin Divine Tree (over 2,800 years old), and the Macaques Reserve.
The meeting time may vary by the season. The Yushan National Park option is not available on Jan. 1st to avoid delays to the tour due to traffic
B. Sunrise Train (round-trip train ticket included): Please proceed to Alishan Train Station and take the sunrise train to Chushan Station (25 minutes one way). The departure time may vary by the season, please check the actual schedule with the ticket counter

Depart for Sun Moon Lake from the hotel lobby or Alishan Visitor Center. Route:
Visit Xinyi Township Farmers' Association & Plum DreamWorks Winery
Marvel at the architectural design of Xiangshan Visitor Center
Arrive at Sun Moon Lake (there are restaurants available and lunch is at your own expense)
Depart from Shuishe Pier and begin with a scenic boat ride. Sun Moon Lake → Lalu Island: step foot onto the floating pier surrounding the island to see exhibitions on Thao culture and its historical development → Xuanguang Temple: Walk along the Tutingzai Trail → Dehua Village Pier: Explore the culture, food and scenery in the Thao Cultural shopping area → Shuishe Pier: Take in panoramic views of Sun Moon Lake (The full boat ride takes approximately 1.5 hours)
Set off to from Sun Moon Lake to Wen Wu Temple (Year of Steps at Wenwu Temple, 365 steps)
After visiting Sun Moon Lake Scenic Area, the journey continues to Qingjing Farm. Prepare to leave behind the city’s hustle and bustle as you travel through mountain roads surrounded by scenic beauty. Along the way, admire an array of unique architectural styles that feel like a journey across the world. The valley's rising sea of clouds, glowing with the setting sun and evening glow, creates a captivating view that encourages you to stay and appreciate the moment

Enjoy a hike at Alishan National Scenic Area, known for Taiwan's oldest forest paths. Savor an authentic Taiwanese meal and continue your journey. Just before sunset, visit the observatory deck and witness the beautiful sunset.
Travel south to Taiwan's largest body of water, Sun Moon Lake. Explore cultural sites like Ita Thao Village, the last residence of the indigenous Thao people, and hear stories about the lake, local wineries, and the surrounding areas.

- If you are changing the pickup location from Chiayi Train Station to Chiayi High-Speed Rail Station after booking, an additional fee of NT$ 100 per passenger (same price for children and adults) will be charged on-site
- Shuttle service to the Green Green Grassland is only from Nalu Wan Villa. Guests staying at other accommodation will not be able to access this service and please take the bus or walk to get to the attraction
