This is a unique SCUBA diving certification (PADI Open Water Diver) course conducted over 2 days, with top quality wagyu BBQ offered at completion of the course.
PADI is world's largest diving association, and its certification is acknowledged worldwide. The course is conducted in English and/or in Japanese by bilingual instructor Taz.
Guests can experience both beach diving (Day1) and boat diving (Day2), and having these experiences under the belt will help you as divers no matter the type or destination of the dives in the future. Also, we take pride in offering a thorough but gentle approach in training, minimizing both physical and mental stress during the entire course.
Additionally, lunches on both days are provided, mainly from nearby (and super popular) local restaurants and cafes.
Pickup included
1. Online study required prior to the practical session at sea. 2. Day1 and Day2 does not need to be consecutive days - can be arranged on request. Day1 - arrive at Ocean Lounge by 8am Day1 AM - Orientation, paper examination on pre-studied curriculum Day1 Lunch - Pizza (or sandwich from nearby cafes) Day1 PM - confined water session (beach diving) Day1 Dinner - not included Expected to end the day at around 6pm. Day2 - arrive at Ocean Lounge at 7.30am Day2 AM - open water session (boat diving) Day2 Lunch - local fishermen's lunch from nearby restaurants Day2 PM - open water session (boat diving) Day2 Dinner - local wagyu beef BBQ at Ocean Lounge & certification completion Expected to end at around 8pm.
You can choose to be picked up from a list of locations, or alternatively, have the choice to make your own way to the meeting points
Please arrive at the pick up point 30 minutes before departure time.
Pick-up areas include: Nago, Motobu, Nakijin, Sesoko-island, Yagaji-island, and Kouri-island. Travelers can arrange pick-up service upon reservation or via email/calls to us. Once the pick up is requested, we will ensure to provide the traveler(s) with meeting time and place.
