Belum Temenggor is a virgin 130 million years old tropical rainforest home of endangered animals tigers, elephants, tapirs, sun bears ... 300 bird species, 14,000 flowering plants, aphrodisiacs, medicinal and poisonous plants. The elusive Rafflesia (Giant flower) can be found here. Temenggor is a man made lake which sustains life for the aborigines and the animals. Belum Temenggor is an unspoilt rainforest.
The Waterfalls in the inner part of Belum is mesmerizing and unspoilt. You will have packed lunch in the rainforest - a take-home experience , most definitely !

On arrival at Kuala Tahan Jetty tour begins. Nature Guide gives live commentary. A view from atop the Canopy is breathtaking. The boatman rushes through the rapids to reach an Aborigine Village to watch fire making skills and blowpipe hunting techniques. You can partake in the activities. The Rainforest is their supermarket. Waterfalls are wonders of nature. The sounds of ripples and trickles of water soothes with a therapeutic effect thus lowering stress. Lunch at Floating Cafe . Visit Batu Caves. Climb 272 steps into temple of Hindu Deity honored during festivals. Ladies to cover knees and shoulders. Freshen up and you can nap on your return transfer to Kuala Lumpur arriving 8pm. End of tour.
