The Thian Hock Keng Temple is one of Singapore’s most important Hokkien temples. Located on what used to be the shoreline (before the land reclamation work began in the 1880s), it was a must-stop destination to thousands of Chinese immigrants in the past. It was built using southern Chinese aspects and was dedicated to ‘Mazu’ who was known by Taoists as the protector of seamen in their voyages ever since 1821.
Ann Siang Hill is a popular spot for nightlife in Singapore. The neighborhood is home to some of the best bars in the city and attracts visitors with its trendy restaurants, pubs, and speakeasies. *Includes travel time
Pagoda Street in Singapore’s Chinatown is one of the best places to go for souvenir shopping. It’s buzzing with a vibrant culture, colourful decorations and lanterns, and the charming shophouses which line the street adhere to the Raffles Town Plan of 1822, which makes the visitor feel as if one is stepping back in time. *Includes travel time
