Meet your guide and small group in Plaza del Triunfo. From here, you'll glimpse the long lines forming outside the Alcazar, but no worries—that won’t be you. You'll enjoy exclusive early access fit for royalty as you head past the crowds and are whisked straight into the palace through doors opened just for your group. Once inside, your guide will lead you through the empty palace and reveal the secrets behind its history, architecture, and notable figures such as King Ferdinand, Queen Isabella and Christopher Columbus.

Over the centuries, each monarch who used the Alcazar expanded the gardens to their current size of seven hectares (17 acres). Today, they're home to many exotic species of trees, flowers, and plants as well as some friendly peacocks.

  • For guest with mobility impairments, the Alcazar has many tiny steps that make the monument hard to navigate in a wheelchair, but it can be done. Please contact our Guest Experience team after booking the tour so we can arrange your visit.
  • This is a walking tour. Guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty.
  • The full names and passport numbers of all participants must be provided within 48 hours from the time of booking and must match the names on the ID/passport. Name changes are not permitted. Please make sure to email our Guest Experience team with the information. Failure to provide this information will result in your booking being automatically cancelled.
  • A Passport is required for every participant. Failure to bring one or a passport copy can result in the security staff refusing your entrance to the monument.

  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your tour, your guide will be holding a green Walks sign. This tour meets at Plaza del Triunfo, 41004, Seville, by the big statue of the Immaculate Virgin in the centre of the square.
