Mangwon Market has been going through a renaissance. Younger people have come in and opened interesting restaurants, pubs, and food stands next to the older proprietors. It feels like a revived traditional market that hasn't lost its character.

These days, there's a taxi driver shortage, so they're unreliable. Seoul has one of the easiest, cleanest, and safest subway systems in the world. Much better than taxis. Your host will be a native Korean or a long-term resident with in-depth knowledge of local food culture. The experience will run in all weather conditions unless it's dangerous (i.e., typhoon, blizzard).
