You learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, and become more confident in your skills as a diver, knowing that you can help others if needed. During the course, you learn to become a better buddy by practicing problem solving skills until they become second nature. Plus, the course is just fun – it’s serious, but still allows for lots of laughter in between the focused learning.
The PADI Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for and how to respond. During rescue scenarios, you put into practice your knowledge and skills.

*Please note that the PADI Fee (for the PADI Rescue Diver Manual and PADI certification costs) of total 70 Euros is not included in the course fee. If you want to take the theory of the course online (eLearning) you have to purchase the materials on the PADI website and register with our diving centre Divinguru Trincomalee, PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, S-26837. Minimum Certification Age is 12 Yrs+ Proof of EFR Primary and Secondary Care training within 24 months. If you don't have this certification you can do the EFR Course at our Diving Centre along with the Rescue Diver Course. It takes half to one day and cost 95 Euro plus 70 Euro for the EFR Manual, Certification costs. Course Content and Schedule: For the PADI RESCUE DIVER Course you have to complete 5 theoretical sections with Knowledge Reviews and a Final Exam. The practical part contains 10 Exercises and 2 Rescue Scenarios. The PADI RESCUE DIVER Course takes around 3 to 5 days and the schedule is flexible mix of classroom and inwater practice depending on ability and fitness of students.
