Take part in a fun and easy activity in venues connected to real Olympic events! Get the background on what the Olympics were really about and find out more about how ancient Olympic athletes trained. You'll get to practice the discus, the javelin throw, the shot put and the long jump before you compete in a relay race in the world’s first modern Olympic Stadium! This is a 2-hour, small-group activity for no more than 15 guests.
The Panathenaic Stadium or Kallimarmaro is one of the main historic attractions of Athens, and it is the only stadium in the world built entirely of marble. It is the stadium where the first modern Olympic games were held for the first time in 1896.
The Zappeion was the first building to be erected specifically for the revival of the Olympic Games in the modern world.
You will make your own way to the meeting points
• The meeting point is the big fountain in front of the Zappeion Hall. Access to the fountain from Vassilissis Olgas Avenue (pedestrian street) • Entry fees are not included. Your guide will help you purchase them on the spot in order to skip the line. If you are a student or a senior please bring your passport or id, as discounts may apply. Fees to be paid in cash • Please wear sports attire and have some water with you • Minimum numbers apply. Cancellation after confirmation may occur if the minimum participant number is not met. In the unlikely event of a cancellation, you will be offered an alternative tour date or full refund.
