Kyaiktiyo Pagoda
You get picked up early in the morning to drive to Kyaikhtiyo, which is located in Mon-State. Upon arrival at the basecamp of Kinpun, you take a seat in one of the local trucks that head up to the mountain. Arriving on top of the mountain, it is another 45-minutes walk to reach the Golden Rock, a large boulder, which appears do balance delicately on a well-placed hair of Buddha on the edge of a cliff. Upon arrival, start sightseeing as your guide will explain the history behind the Golden Rock. Enjoy the fantastic panoramic views of the natural surroundings and mountains of Mon State before you head back to the basecamp and depart to Yangon.
