Hotel/Airport pick up at your selected time, then drive to Gubei water town. Simatai Great Wall
You will connect cable car to the top, then walked about 15 mins with guide to the tower number 5, then hike up to the tower number 8, you will enjoy the amazing scenery on the wall and may catch beautiful sunset if time permit. The Simatai Great Wall is one of the most spectacular and well-preserved sections of the Great Wall of China, renowned for its dramatic terrain and historical authenticity. Stretching along steep ridges and cliffs, it offers breathtaking views and a thrilling hiking experience. Unlike other sections, Simatai retains its original Ming Dynasty features, giving visitors a true sense of ancient craftsmanship. Especially unique is the opportunity to visit at night—when the wall is softly illuminated, creating a magical and unforgettable journey through history under the stars. Later on, you will be transferred back to your hotel/airport.

Hiking shoes are highly recommended. • Vendors: There are many vendors who make their livings on the Great Wall. Often time they will wait for visitors at the entrance of the wall, and follow them almost the entire way. During the tour, they may help you, for example, help you carry your bag or give you a hand on the steep parts. If this occurs, a tip or purchase is expected.
