In this Mexican embroidery workshop you will discover the beauty of one of the most popular embroidery, where you will be taught about the history and specific technique of embroidery.
The workshop includes moments for participants to share their experiences, also to show their progress and provide useful advice. This creates a collaborative and motivating environment, where everyone can learn from each other.

Throughout the workshop, information on the history and cultural importance of embroidery is shared. Participants will learn about the relationship between craftsmanship and cultural identity, as well as the role of art in preserving traditions. First we will get to know each other, then we will talk about the history of the embroidery we are going to work on and the importance of its preservation, we will continue with the distribution of materials and we will start with working with the embroidery. At the end of the workshop, we will give a conclusion of what we have learned and they will take home what they have done in the workshop to finish or save it.
