There are countless archaeological sites that house Inca ruins and small Andean villages that keep alive the ancient traditions inherited from their ancestors. In this sense, here we highlight two tours that cannot be left out of your travel itinerary for Peru: the Moray Archaeological Site and the incredible Maras Salt Mines. These two places are located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas and can usually be visited in a single day. They are perfect examples of Inca wisdom and engineering, in addition to harmonizing with the exuberant nature of the region, making for a complete and interesting tour for any type of tourist.
Pickup included
7:30am – 8am | Departure from the hotel. We will pick you up at your accommodation, where our guide will give a brief explanation about the tour and provide a box lunch for each passenger.
8:00 – 9:15 | Cusco to Moray. We will travel through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, observing the stunning natural landscapes of the region.
9:30am – 10:30am | Moray Archaeological Site. Our first stop will be at the Moray Archaeological Site, an ancient Inca agricultural laboratory.
