Holambra located 120 km far from São Paulo is considered the largest producer of flowers and plants in Latin America, accounting for about 45% of national production. With lots of greenery and typical buildings, the city reveals in small details, part of its history, traditions and culture. Its formation started from the Dutch immigration that at the end of the 40's began to arrive at the old Ribeirão Farm. Its name reflects the union of two peoples and two cultures, a mixture of Holland (HOL), America (AM) and Brazil (BRA).

Coming in Holambra the travelers will make a stop in front of the City Gate for photos and the tour guide will introduct the history of traditions, culture, the Dutch immigration that at the end of the 40's began to arrive at the old Ribeirão Farm.
We've start the tour with a visit in Flower Farm plantation, suggestive for people who love nature and taking lots of photos, the farm monitor will present the stages of cultivation of each species and free time to take photos on the Flower Field and buy some souvenirs or flowers at the Farm Market. Flowers we visited: 1) Cut Gerberas: Gerberas are flowers grown in greenhouses (protected cultivation system). They stay in flower all year round, they are flower beds by colors, beautiful scenery for photos. 2) Chrysanthemums / Daisies: Known as field flowers, but which are also cultivated in the greenhouse system all year round, the beds always have flowery layers, they are taller flowers and grow closer together, giving a feeling of a flowery carpet. 3) Anthuriums/Cactus: flowers grown in the greenhouse system, planted in pots with very vibrant colors. IMPORTANT: Flowers have their seasonality, we always visit the most flowery crops.
After visit on Flower Farm, We will take a walking tour through the main tourist places in Holambra, where we will make stops for photos and the tour guide will present some curiosities of the city and its most interesting points: Povos Unidos Mill, Main Church, Deck of Love and Vitória Regia Lake.

We make the pick-up and drop-off at the hotels or homes located within a maximus 6 km far from Sé Square. The travelers staying outside of pick-up area have to meet the tour guide at the starting point as information below: Hotel Ibis Paulista Address: Avenida Paulista, 2355 The pick-up time will be informed at the day before of tour.
Bring to the tour: Wear comfortable walking clothes and shoes, as there are stops during the tour; bring a raincoat or umbrella on a cloudy day; personal objects such as a cap, sunglasses, cameras, etc .; cards and money for personal expenses. The tour operator will send a message at the day before tour to inform you of the exact pick-up time.
