Our first stop is at this cultural site built to measure the solstices and equinoxes, in pre-Hispanic times, it is also considered the “other half of the world”, since the line equinoctial or equator crosses through this place and through the middle of the summit of the snow-capped Cayambe, which can be seen from this site.

Fabrica de Bizcochos San Pedro

To get to know its gastronomy we have a stop to have a cup of Ecuadorian coffee or chocolate accompanied by cakes; which are like a type of small bread made in the oven with an unmatched flavor. The best of all is that we will learn about its production process.
