Our tour invites you to take an in-depth look at the relationship between food and the people, through an experiential encounter with the typical street food and traditional quisine of the Sacred Valley of Peru.
The tour begins with a morning of tasting in the charming market area of the town of Urubamba. We will then take a tour to the magical Inca town of Ollantaytambo. Then we drive up the breathtaking mountains of the Andes to visit an indigenous Peruvian family and enjoy a traditional festive lunch. In the evening we will return to Urubamba, to finish the day with a local dessert.

Description: A 10-hour food and culture tour in the Sacred Valley. If more participants register, the price changes accordingly.
The tour begins with a morning of tasting in the charming market area and the main square of the town of Urubamba, the main town of the sacred valley.
We will travel to the magical Inca town of Ollantaytambo, where we will take a tour of the old city and drink Chicha, the drink that is Peru, in an authentic Chicheria.
We drive up the breathtaking mountains of the Andes to visit an indigenous Peruvian family In the Patacancha Comunity. There we will get to know the family members, learn about their way of life and their traditional crafts, and eat a festive traditional lunch.
You can choose to be picked up from a list of locations, or alternatively, have the choice to make your own way to the meeting points
Please arrive at the pick up point 60 minutes before departure time.
Transfer from Cusco is available for an additional fee. You can also easily arrive by private car or public transportation, if you choose to do so.
