What makes this one different is how you connect with our story, our photos, our reviews, and with us. I’ve personally selected small, often family-run wineries you won’t find in most guides. We visit two of these intimate spots, offering craft wines and a casual, authentic experience.
Prefer large, commercial visits? We might not be the right fit — and that’s okay. We travel by van to the valley (130 km from Porto), then enjoy a peaceful 1-hour boat ride in Pinhão for the stunning river views.
Lunch? Traditional restaurants with great local food — meat, fish, vegetarian, and vegan options are available with notice.
Return to Porto is around 5:30–6:00 pm, traffic permitting.
