Experience the weightless of gliding through clear glacier water on this 4-hour diving tour from Thingvellir National Park. The slow current provides a perfect pace to explore this beautiful area with your certified dive instructor. The fresh water visibility found here is unrivaled--sometimes it is only limited by the density of the water itself. Depth varies, but dives are limited to 18 meters by park regulations. Rated a challenging dive, this small-group tour is limited to a maximum of 3 participants. Choose from one of three departure times when you book.
Meet us on location at the Silfra parking lot in Thingvellir National Park 15 minutes prior to your tour start.
Dive into the clear water in Silfra fissure, one of the world's top rated diving locations. Diving between 2 continents is a very unique experience and on many bucket lists. You have to be a certified diver to participate in this activity and have a dry-suit experience (10 dives within the last 2 years, in a dry-suit, or dry-suit certified). Afterwards, you will have hot chocolate and biscuits to warm yourself up.
You will make your own way to the meeting points
• Please note that dry-suit certification or a logbook showing at least 10 drysuit dives within the last 2 years must be presented to participate • Guests must provide their height and weight prior to the tour • Minimum age is 18 years • Glasses cannot be worn under the mask - please wear contact lenses if required • Please note that drysuit diving is different to wetsuit diving, as you have two forms of buoyancy to control- the BCD and the drysuit.
