Designed for very small or private groups in mind (4-6 people max), we will commit ourselves to search for any specific animal request as we make our way through a beautifully preserved private property, you will find yourself next to all kinds of spiders, colorful tree frogs, lizards, snakes, and occasionally anteaters, sloths, armadillos, and even the elusive ocelots. - Pickup and drop-off at all local hotels, airbnbs, villas, and private rental homes included.
- In dry season (Jan-Feb-Mar-Apr) Boots are not provided. Closed-toed shoes are mandatory to wear.

- A light cotton T-shirt and pants are ideal for the tour. Comfortable clothes are recommended (Long sleeve shirts are not necessary)
- It is mandatory to wear closed-toe shoes (tennis or hiking boots) to participate in the tour.
- Due to heavy rain or windy conditions, we recommend booking any type of night tours within the first few days of your arrival. During the rainy season (early May through late December), rain is a factor, and we may cancel or reschedule the tour to later days of your vacation.
Meet
Pickup and Dropoff
You can choose to be picked up from a list of locations, or alternatively, have the choice to make your own way to the meeting points
Please arrive at the pick up point 15 minutes before departure time.
Additional Information
If you have a rental or your own vehicle, we suggest driving to the meeting point instead of using our shuttle service. It's much easier and more convenient for both parties if you'd like to stay and try one of the local restaurants after the tour; there's secure, guarded parking at the hotel. Simply drive 100 meters past the Hotel Playa Espadilla entrance on Calle Bosque (gravel road) and park anywhere on your right.
Meeting / End Points
- Hotel Playa Espadilla is within walking distance of most hotels near the national park entrance. It's less than a 5-minute walk from the bus stop and several local restaurants.
