What's included in A Private Traditional Cape Malay Cooking Class, with a MKR Finalist

This is a unique opportunity to visit the home of a local and explore traditional culture and cuisine. Kerry lives with her husband and twin boys in their suburban home, approximately a 30 min drive from the Sandton CBD. Her beautiful home is easily accessible by Uber or taxi. Join Kerry in her home kitchen for a 1-hour hands-on cooking class. You will learn to make 2-3 dishes that you will be eating later. Kerry will first demonstrate how it is done and will then help you prepare a main, dessert and flat bread. Along the way she will share tips and secrets to cooking a traditional South African meal. You may learn to make fish cakes, malva pudding and learn to roll your own rotis (flat bread), before joining Kerry at the dining table to share the meal you helped prepare.
