This is a mandatory tour for visitors! In this tour we will focus on tasting the sample of the exceptional gastronomy that we can find in this region.
Pickup included
As we leave Lisbon behind, we head to the center of Sintra for our first tasting: a pillow, essentially a delicious sweet made from soft dough and stuffed with egg and almond cream. Find out why the confectionery is so expensive for the Portuguese while you stroll through the city center.
From Sintra, we go to Colares, just 8 km away, for a wine tasting at the Adega Regional de Colares. It is the oldest wine cooperative in the country (founded in 1931) and brings together more than 50% of the total production. It also plays an important role in the local economy. This wine cellar has a stunning interior because of the size and number of barrels it houses. That's where the aging process takes place. In addition to wine tasting and sampling, you can also take a guided tour of the interior to see the process, its history and how these wines taste so distinctly. Place of passage Azenhas do Mar Guincho Beach
Azenhas do Mar is a village on the coast of the municipality of Sintra, parish of Colares. The place developed along the Cameijo stream, which flows into the Atlantic and breaks the cliffs of the coast, and in which there were watermills, has at the base a beach in which there is an oceanic pool.
