Guided by local host Thakshila, you’ll wear a sarong, cook with clay pots, and learn step-by-step how to prepare authentic Sri Lankan dishes using fresh, local ingredients. Guests have opportunity to experience a traditional Sri Lankan meal – wearing a sarong while learning the process of how to cook a Sri Lankan meal with clay pottery in an open window hut, having a view of the tea field mountains.

  • Take public bus from Ella Town to Container Cafe and walk down small road to Tea Pick View
  • Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
