After exploring the Toronto harbour and waterfront our tour will take you by boat to the Toronto Islands. Cycling along the paths of the car-free islands is a treat and you will quickly feel yourself relax and take in the natural surroundings. Breakfast outside at the Runaway Cafe is a highlight you don't want to miss, enjoy a delicious sandwich, fresh coffee or tea and one of their decadent pastries. After breakfast we will explore the quaint neighbourhood of the Ward's Island Community before returning to the city by ferry.
The Distillery District was founded in 1832 as a producer of Whiskey and was redeveloped in the 1990s to include both commercial and residential buildings. Walk along the cobblestone lanes and discover the charming shops, restaurants for every diner and plenty of historical landmarks.
Sugar Beach is an urban park that opened in 2010 and is located across from the Redpath Sugar Refinery which opened in 1958. This park provides an urban oasis for locals to take a break from the city as well as playing host to many events throughout the year.
Harbourfront is a waterfront neighbourhood on Toronto's harbour and is home to both residential buildings and a wide variety of businesses. The majority of sightseeing tour boats, the Harbourfront Centre with it's studios and art installations as well as plenty of food establishments can all be found here.
