About Tokyo Subway Tickets
To exchange for a ticket, present the “QR code” you received upon completing your reservation. Ensure you have a device capable of displaying the “QR code” or bring a printed copy.
If you cannot display the QR code, you will be unable to use the ticket.
Partial ticket exchanges are prohibited. Even when buying multiple tickets, only one QR code will be issued for each transaction. Scanning the QR code at Tokyo Metro or Toei Subway stations will allow for the exchange of all valid tickets bought.
If the magnetic strip on your Tokyo Subway Ticket is damaged or weakened, it may not work at automated ticket gates. Keep it away from strong magnetic sources, such as smartphones, home appliances, and magnetic closures on wallets.

Tokyo Subway Ticket
To use this voucher, take it to any major Tokyo Metro or Toei Subway station and exchange it for a ticket at one of the designated ticket vending machines for travelers.
The voucher contains a QR code that will be scanned at the machine to issue your ticket.
Kindly review the attached file for information regarding the exchange location and method.
It is possible to make exchanges at the Tokyo Metro station offices.
(excluding Kitasenju on the Hibiya Line, Nakameguro, Nakano, Nishi-Funabashi, Yoyogi-Uehara, Wako City, and Shibuya station on the Hanzomon and Fukutoshin Lines, and Meguro stations).
For more information, kindly approach the station staff at the ticket gate.
If there is no ticket vending machine available at your starting station or you cannot exchange your ticket at the station office,
please approach a staff member who will guide you on board the train to the station where the ticket vending machine for travelers is installed.

Tokyo Subway Ticket Expiration and Usage Instructions:
The voucher is valid for redemption within 12 months from the purchase date.
A redeemed ticket lasts for 6 months.
The expiration date will be printed on the ticket after passing through the gate.
You can exit even after the valid period has ended, as long as you entered before it expired.
If the ticket is not used within the printed validity period, it will become invalid.
If you experience issues using the ticket at the automatic gate after redemption, please notify the station staff. They will confirm and reissue the ticket if necessary.
