Experience the fascinating history of the Grotto in the breathtaking landscape of Cevio in the Valle Maggia. Discover the deep-rooted agropastoral traditions of this region in the picturesque villages of Moghegno and Boschetto.
Moghegno is a typical Ticino village where you can still discover agricultural traditions, such as drying chestnuts and storing grain.
Hidden behind Cevio we find a small village that has preserved its original architecture to this day.
Behind the ValleMaggia Museum is the debris cone of a large rockslide. Between the large boulders, over 60 cellars were dug on an area of about two hectares, forming the core of the so-called Grotti.
