Explore the authentic flavors of Prague’s historic west side with a small-group food tour near Prague Castle. Unlike most tours, this experience takes you through Hradčany (The Castle District) and Malá Strana (The Little Quarter) — charming neighborhoods filled with small, locally-owned spots that have held their ground despite the tourist boom.
Led by a passionate local guide, this tour offers more than just tastings. As you walk downhill through cobbled lanes and courtyards, you’ll hear stories of the businesses you visit — and learn how Czech cuisine developed through centuries of rural tradition, Austro-Hungarian influence, and local creativity.
Taste a variety of Czech favorites: beer snacks and appetizers, local street food, sweet treats from a student-favorite café, countryside-style dishes, and Moravian almond coffee or liquor. Vegetarian options are available.
Enjoy culture, flavor, and views — all in one authentic Prague experience.
We meet and start in the Lesser Town district - one of Prague’s most historic neighbourhoods. After the welcome surprise, we take a short tram ride to get up hill around the castle.
Enter the Catholic monastery founded in 1140 and stop here in the local brewery for a good sample of the regional appetizers. We also love the local beer.
We enjoy the beautiful Bellavista panorama and walk through the Castle District, get a regional Moravian coffee / shot of liqueur along the way.
