The adventure begins at the local market in Cozumel, where you will meet the fresh ingredients that feed the families of the island. Then, we will walk through the main square to visit the church of San Miguel, the clock and the famous letters, while learning about the local history.

Then we will enter a Mayan village, where you will tour a cenote, sculptures and traditional houses. You will live an authentic experience with tastings of organic chocolate, honey and artisan tequila, discovering the flavors of Mayan heritage.

And as a final touch, we will arrive at the Sky Reef beach club, where you will learn to prepare a taco with meat to the shepherd and the traditional mayan sauce "chiltomate". You will enjoy the taste, the sea and the moment.

Itinerary

Mercado Municipal

We begin the experience at the heart of the taste: the local market. Here you’ll see how families on the island are stocked up and learn about fresh, typical and colourful ingredients. It is a direct window into the daily life of Cozumel and its gastronomic culture.

Plaza Central

Then we will go to the main square, where you will visit the church of San Miguel, the emblematic clock and the letters of Cozumel. This walk will allow you to learn more about the history of the village and capture memorable photos.

Afterwards, we will enter a Mayan village that recreates the ancestral traditions of the region. You will see a small cenote, sculptures, Mayan houses and live a sensory experience with tastings of organic chocolate, pure honey and artisan tequila. You’ll also learn how the Mayans produced these representative flavors.
