【Shisanhang Museum】 The Shisanhang site preserves Taiwan's prehistoric Iron Age culture dating back to 1,800 to 500 years ago. According to research by archaeological experts, its ethnicity may be related to the Ketagalan people among the plains aborigines. In 1998, the government officially began to build the Shisanhang Ruins Reserve into the "Shisanhang Museum". The museum preserves and displays the remains of our ancestors, hoping to introduce the precious prehistoric sites to all tourists. In addition, a time bridge is set up and various special exhibitions are held from time to time. It is hoped that the public can travel through time and experience the historical trajectory of the Thirteen Hong culture while enjoying the Tamsui River.
The museum introduces the Shisanhang culture discovered at the site in a fun and interesting way, letting us know what kind of life the Shisanhang people lived thousands of years ago. It also holds special exhibitions from time to time, sometimes introducing the historical trajectory of the development of the Tamsui River, and sometimes archaeological explorations that are rich in scientific education. The special exhibitions are very relaxing and interesting, allowing visitors to absorb a wealth of knowledge while having fun, and at the same time inspire children's interest in history.
