As your tour kicks off, you'll stop at the iconic James B. Beam Distilling Co., home to the world-famous Jim Beam bourbon. You’ll learn about the Beam family’s profound impact on the bourbon industry. Admission to the distillery and any tasting fees are not included, but you can enjoy a sip of bourbon on-site.

Bardstown
Pass-by Only

You’ll pass through Bardstown, often called the "Bourbon Capital of the World." This charming town is steeped in bourbon history, where many distilleries trace their roots. Feel free to take a break and explore the local scene, though drinks are not included.

At the Maker’s Mark Distillery, you’ll hear from Bill Samuels about how this iconic bourbon brand began. The distillery’s red wax seal is as distinctive as its flavor. While touring, entry and tasting costs are not included, but you can purchase a bourbon tasting to enhance your visit.

  • Our tour starts in the parking lot of the James B Beam Distilling Co. (Jim Beams' visitors center). Try to park in the spaces to the east of the visitors center. If those are all full, park as close to the visitors center as you can.

End Points

  • The tour ends near Duncan Road Mart on Duncan Road.
