Fontana di Trevi

The Trevi Fountain is one of the most famous fountains in the world and an iconic symbol of Rome. Located in the Trevi district, it is famous for its grandiose baroque architecture and its breathtaking beauty. Designed by architect Nicola Salvi and completed in 1762, the fountain features a large semicircular basin, surrounded by imposing columns and statues. At the center of the fountain is the figure of the God of the Sea, Oceanus, who drives a shell-shaped chariot pulled by sea horses and tritons. The fountain is embellished with numerous allegorical sculptures representing the four seasons, health and wealth.
