Ancient City of Ephesus

Meryemana (The Virgin Mary's House)
The House of the Virgin Mary is located just beyond Ephesus. According to Christian tradition, Mary was taken there by the Apostle John after the Resurrection of Christ and lived her last days in this house. A small chapel dedicated to Saint Mary was discovered when the ruins of the house were found. The Vatican has recognized the place as the last resting place of the Virgin.
Basilica of St. John
We will continue to St. John's Basilica, where the Apostle John died and was buried after completing his missions in Anatolia. Then, we will visit the Temple of Artemis (Diana), which was one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.
