Explore Budapest’s rich history and famous landmarks — from the Castle District, Váci Street, and Parliament to the Basilica, Andrássy Avenue, Heroes’ Square, and the Jewish Quarter. After a full day of discovery, we’ll end at one of my favorite hidden spots that most tourists miss: Lukács Thermal Bath. This quiet oasis in the bustling city is known for having some of the best and most healing thermal waters in Budapest - and it also features swimming pools, jacuzzis, water massage, saunas, steam baths—and even a beer bath! (the latter for an additional fee) I’ll tell you about the history of the place and the city's bathing culture, help you settle in, and you’re welcome to relax at your own pace or spend time with me, chatting and enjoying the baths together. (If you’d prefer to skip the bathing, we can visit the Central Market instead or spend more time at the other locations.)

We’ll start at the grand Palace area, exploring its courtyards and taking in sweeping views over the Danube and the city below. Then we’ll wander through the charming medieval streets of the Castle District, where colorful houses and quiet corners bring old Buda to life.
We’ll visit Matthias Church, a jewel of the Castle District known for its colorful tiled roof and beautifully detailed interior. Named after King Matthias, one of Hungary’s most famous rulers, the church holds centuries of royal stories and legends within its walls.
We’ll explore Fisherman’s Bastion, with its fairytale-like towers and panoramic views over the Danube and Pest. Built in the late 19th century, it honors the medieval guild of fishermen who once defended this part of the city walls.
