Your Guide will pick you from your Cairo ,Giza Hotel/Airport . Then you are going to see pyramids of Giza which is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world . All three of Giza's famed pyramids and their elaborate burial complexes were built during a frenetic period of construction, from roughly 2550 to 2490 B.C. The pyramids were built by Pharaohs Khufu (tallest), Khafre (background), and Menkaure (front).

Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu)

The Great Pyramid of Cheops also called (Khufu) built on the plateau of Giza and is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and still existing today and always visited by travelers, is the first one that appears on sight if, like most visitors, you come from El-Ahram Street. This wonder was completed around 2560 BC, the height originally exceeded 145 meters (today reduced to 138 due to the removal of external architectural elements). Higher than any construction built before the industrial age, it is a marvel of mathematics and engineering, it was built based on highly developed geometric knowledge and techniques.

Khafre's Pyramid

Khafre Pyramid is the second largest pyramid in Egypt, only about 10 meters lower than the Great Pyramid. The pyramid is unique in that the remains of the original cladding have been preserved in its upper part. Khafra built his pyramid at Giza next to his father’s pyramid… Its pyramid complex is better preserved than others, thanks in part to an innovative construction method using massive limestone blocks enclosed in a sheath of thin facing slabs. The entire complex served as a temple for the resurrected god-pharaoh after his funeral.
