We pick you up at 8:00 am at your hotel, then we transfer you from Quito to the Cotopaxi National Park.

Cotopaxi National Park

Departure from Quito is at 8am approx., By the "Pan-Americana Sur" way, admiring the beautiful Andean landscapes. Visit the National Park with its interpretation center where animals are exposed in the area, stop at Lake “Limpiopungo” and we can also climb to the refuge of the highest active volcano "Cotopaxi" of 5897 meters high. Cotopaxi National Park is a protected area located in Ecuador Latacunga Canton in the Province of Cotopaxi in Ecuador. Inside the park and in the territory of the province of Cotopaxi is the snow-capped Cotopaxi Volcano. It was the first national park to be established in the mainland of Ecuador and the country's second. Its ecosystem is home to several arboreal species, especially pine, live species of cypress, pine, spruce and ash trees. Finally get to rest and enjoy nature at a hotel-refuge before returning to Quito.

Quilotoa

As we continue our journey towards the Quilotoa Volcano, we will pass through the indigenous community of Tigua, famous for its Andean-themed handicrafts. We will then continue to the community of Zumbahua, where we will stop at the Toachi River Canyon viewpoint to take photos. Afterward, we will proceed to the lagoon viewpoint, where we will have a breathtaking view of the entire volcanic crater and its stunning turquoise lagoon. From this point, the hike begins. If time and weather conditions permit, we will take a short walk to fully appreciate the majestic view of the volcano.
