Experience the beauty of the Cairngorm National Park! Sharing with you history, culture and folklore of this beautiful area where I live.
We travel back in time with a visit to the Highland Folk Museum, setting for Outlander, Mackenzie village scenes, before visiting Ruthven Barracks, built early 1700 and where jacobites regrouped following the battle of Culloden.
We then travel to Loch an Eilein, with the water reflecting the magnificent pines and views of the ruined island castle.
We will then drive to Cairngorm mountain car park and enjoy the views across the valley with opportunity for short walk and or enjoy a coffee.
Stopping at Loch Morlich beach as we descend towards the village of Aviemore With time for a whisky tasting at the Snug / Gin Tasting, Kinrara / Cairngorm Brewery options
Ending the day with sheep dog demonstration.
