Upon arrival in Kutna Hora, your Private Guide will lead you to one of the city's top attractions, the famous Bone Church and Cemetery (Sedlec Ossuary). It's a small Gothic Chapel adorned with garlands of human skulls, bone chandelier, chalices and other bone ornaments. You will be surprised by the story of why the church is decorated with human remains!
Nearby you will see the magnificent Baroque-Gothic Cathedral of Assumption of Our Lady and St John the Baptist.
Head to the historic center of Kutna Hora and admire the Three Kings House, decorated with fresco paints depicting Kings Wenceslaus II, Vladislaus II and Wenceslaus IV. Next to is the Italian Court - a 1400s former royal palace, and the medieval Church of St James. You will also see the early 18th century Plague Column, a Baroque-style Church of St John, the stunning Gothic Stone Fountain, the Dačického house and Hradek.

Know before you go: - Please check your email the day before the tour to receive important information. - Please note that your Private Guide will join you in Kutna Hora. During transfers, the driver will be able to answer your questions in Czech and English. - Skip-the-line tickets to Sedlec Ossuary and the Cathedral of St Barbara allow you to enter faster without purchasing tickets on the spot, but you may have to wait in line for ticket validation and mandatory security checks. - Sedlec Ossuary is closed on Dec 24 so there will be no tour inside of the chapel on this day. - Church tours during scheduled events (such as the Sunday, daily and holiday masses) are limited, so parts of or the entire church building may be closed at the time of your visit. At such times, you will only see it from the outside. - We will arrange private transfers in a standard car (sedan) for groups of 1-4 people, and in a larger van or minibus for groups of 5 people and more. If you're travelling in a smaller group but want to travel in a more spacious car, we recommend booking a 5-people tour to take advantage of a larger vehicle. - Lunch can be arranged upon request.
