See this former prison converted into a museum with exhibitions of contemporary photography.
Torre dos Clerigos
Together with the church they form the ensemble designed by Nicolau Nasoni. We will learn about his life and the important legacy of Nasoni who, although Italian, worked mainly in Portugal and was a key figure in the Portuguese Baroque and Rococo periods.
It is undoubtedly one of the best viewpoints from which to contemplate the city, the Douro, its bridges and the charming popular architecture of the city.
