PhotoProf has been organizing photography courses in Paris for almost 10 years. Tested on already more than 30,000 students, our teaching method is based on an immediate application of the techniques taught. Also, all our courses take place in the field, in real conditions (except in studio and photo editing), in order to favor practice, exchanges and experiments, specific to errors and constructive questions.

The PhotoProf courses are supervised by qualified photographers, it is true, but this is not what represents their highest quality. Beyond their technical skills, what will allow you to progress (and have a good time with them) is really their passion, their listening, their desire to share their know-how and especially their kindness.

So what are you waiting for to test the PhotoProf method?

What's included in Photo course - Level 2: Light and Colors

(Subject to Option Inclusions)

MANAGE THE QUANTITY OF LIGHT Nothing is more unpleasant than a photo that is too dark or too bright. It is therefore important to know how to control the quantity of it that we let penetrate through our lens and go to the sensor. Even if the device does part of the work in semi-automatic mode, it can sometimes get it wrong. You will learn to cope: in very contrasting situations (backlighting, subjects lit on one side only, etc ...). in dark places, traditionally harder to photograph by hand. in gray skies, often much brighter than the subject you wish to immortalize, sometimes causing unpleasant under-exposures. MANAGE THE QUALITY OF LIGHT (colors, saturation and contrasts) Even well exposed, a photo can be considered missed if its colors are bland or even eccentric. You will see in particular how: Avoid having orange pictures indoors or as soon as night falls. Take beautiful, bright photos even when it's gray. Use the subject colors to make a beautiful black & white image.
