Sailing on a catamaran on the Vistula, you have the opportunity to see (some from a distance, others up close) some of Krakow's monuments, visible from the river, that you did not see while walking around the city. Even the well-known Wawel looks different from the water. Admire all the most important places in Krakow from the Vistula River. See Krakow from a new perspective as you follow the flow of the queen of Polish rivers.
Built in honor of the great patriot and leader of the uprising - Tadeusz Kościuszko - the mound is also a museum and a wonderful vantage point and tourist destination
One of the largest historic complexes in the city is situated on the picturesque Vistula embankment. It is the monastery and seat of the Krakow Norbertine Sisters - one of the oldest religious congregations in Poland. Centuries ago, the order received excellent daughters from noble and princely families, it managed numerous lands, and the monastery - thanks to its strategic location - was of great importance for the defense of Krakow. The history of the Norbertine monastic complex is strongly marked by invasions and sieges, starting with the Tatar invasions in the 13th century. The colorful Krakow legend of the Lajkonik is associated with the Tatar invaders. It was the beginning of the traditional procession that sets off every year from the convent's courtyard one week after the Corpus Christi.
