You will meet your guide at a central train/subway station and take a train to Ostia. The train is the best way to get there because you bypass all local traffic (train tickets price €3.00 both ways, not included). Discover the ancient site of Ostia Antica with a small group and an expert guide. On this guided tour, you will escape the noise and heat of Rome to explore one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the world. Halfway through the tour, you will have a restroom break, and your guide will give you ample time to get some rest and snacks. Uncover the highlights of this magnificent city, and at the end of the tour, stay in and explore on your own, or return to Rome with the guide.

- If you're using Subway/Metro, get off at the Piramide station and take the PIAZZALE OSTIENSE exit. Once you're outside, the meeting point will be on your left-hand side. The check-in begins at 8:30, we depart at 8:45. We use the train and cannot wait for latecomers.
