Historic Center (Centro Historico)
The Historic Center of Mexico City is the largest and most emblematic of Latin America, including one of the world's tourist centers and the main cultural tourism destination in the entire Mexican Republic. Perhaps the greatest recognition is that of 2007 by UNESCO, declaring the area as a World Cultural Heritage. In that space different historical periods converge, from pre-Hispanic times, through colonial times, to modernity. In the Historic Center some of the most appreciated cultural treasures of the nation and true jewels of architecture come together. It has approximately 1,500 buildings that include temples, 13 museums, theaters and cultural centers and 78 squares or gardens. It is a delight for tourists to visit the Historic Center of Mexico City, which has been listed by Forbes Magazine as the Fourth Best Place in the World to Eat (after Paris, Rome and Tokyo), because precisely in the heart of the Capital is the traditional restaurants and restaurants that prepare the best dishes of Mexican cuisine and international cuisine, as well as canteens, bars, taquerías, cafes and terraces that are true oases to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and contemplate the buildings and the become the people who travel this area daily.
Paseo de la Reforma
The Paseo de la Reforma is the most important and emblematic avenue in Mexico City. Originally, it was called Paseo de la Emperatriz or Paseo del Emperador, since its line was commissioned by Maximiliano I of Mexico during the Second Mexican Empire.
Chapultepec Castle
Chapultepec Castle is a palatial construction in the center of Chapultepec Forest located in Mexico City, at an elevation of 2325 meters above sea level. It was built by Viceroy Bernardo de Gálvez and Madrid on the hill of Chapulín.
