Maybe Happy Ending invites audiences into a tender, whimsical world where the ordinary meets the extraordinary through an unexpected bond between two outdated helper robots. Set in a near-future Seoul, the musical explores love, memory, and what it means to feel truly alive—even for machines. Inspired by a line from Damon Albarn’s “Everyday Robots,” co-creator Hue Park imagined a world of human-like robots abandoned in a digital age. Premiering in Seoul in 2016 to critical acclaim, the story now finds new life on Broadway at the Belasco Theatre, opening November 12, 2024. With heartfelt performances and imaginative storytelling, Maybe Happy Ending is a touching journey of connection, discovery, and the enduring spark of hope.
