visit a local women’s cooperative, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Berber breakfast. Savor a complete traditional breakfast consisting of mint tea, argan oil, olive oil, honey, amlou, and baked bread while learning about the cooperative’s inspiring work. These women are dedicated to preserving Berber traditions through handicrafts, argan oil production, and other local products. It’s a wonderful opportunity to support their community and gain insight into their daily lives.
Setti Fatma and the 7 Cascades
The adventure continues as you arrive in the charming village of Setti Fatma, the gateway to the Ourika Valley’s famous waterfalls. Accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide, you’ll embark on a scenic hike through the valley, passing terraced fields, traditional Berber homes, and crystal-clear streams. The hike leads to the stunning waterfalls, where you can take a refreshing dip or simply marvel at the natural beauty. (Note: The hike can be adjusted to suit your fitness level, and pregnant women or those who prefer to relax can enjoy the serene riverside instead.)
